Why Workbridge?
Workbridge shares a common goal with all stakeholders – to minimize the overall impact of absences, and to return productive employees back to the job. When dealing with doctors, treatment providers, and insurance companies, continuity and timeliness is critical to an employee’s recovery, health and ultimately a successful return to work. Workbridge coordinates this process, so that employees, supervisors and HR managers have a single, accountable resource from beginning to end, including integration of short-term disability (STD), long-term disability (LTD) and workers’ compensation (WorkSafeBC).
What Sets Us Apart?
Experience: we have an extensive background working with employees who have persistent health conditions and/or complex barriers to return to work. Successful intervention is good for all stakeholders and we stand on “doing the right thing at the right time” by providing on-site support to employees, managers, and administrators as complex issues often require face to face involvement.
Collaboration: facilitating recovery is in everyone’s interest and ultimately saves money, preserves individual dignity and retains valuable people resources. We have wide-ranging experience working with disability insurers, physicians, healthcare treatment providers, WorkSafeBC, and with unionized and non-unionized organizations.
Responsiveness: we are flexible and mobile and recognize that timely intervention is the foundation for recovery. We know that early and appropriate involvement can significantly reduce or prevent chronicity. Workbridge is committed to timely resolution and outcomes.
